For Associate or Student Membership Proposer and Seconder may be Honorary, Corporate or Associate Members.

The requirement for Proposing and Seconding may be waived if the application is accompanied by a letter of introduction from a Justice of Peace, an Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, Commissioned officer of Army, Navy or Air Force, Gazetted Officer of Police, Head of your Workplace, a Staff Officer in State Service or The Grama Niladhari in the area of residence of the applicant certifying that the applicant bears good character or a letter from The School Principal certifying that the applicant is a student of that school in case of Student Members.
