Onboarding - RSSL

Current Amateur Radio License holders are enrolled as Corporate Members. Students under 18 as Student Members. Foreigners as Overseas Members. Others as Associate Members.

For Corporate and Overseas Membership, the Proposer and Seconder should be Honorary or Corporate Members. For Associate or Student Membership Proposer and Seconder may be Honorary, Corporate or Associate Members. The requirement for Proposing and Seconding may be waived if the application is accompanied by a letter of introduction from a Justice of Peace, an Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, Commissioned officer of Army, Navy or Air Force, Gazetted Officer of Police, Head of your Workplace, a Staff Officer in State Service or The Grama Niladhari in the area of residence of the applicant certifying that the applicant bears good character or a letter from The School Principal certifying that the applicant is a student of that school in case of Student Members.

The completed application form, along with the required documents, the appropriate subscription fee (Enrollment fee plus first-year subscription) and payment proof document should be forwarded to the Hony. Secretary by post or electronically via [email protected]. Payment can be made either by Cash, online payment, or a Cheque (crossed as Account Payee only) drawn in favor of "The Radio Society of Sri Lanka”.
